The Story Behind the ClickUp Integration for WHMCS
At Aspire Digital Solutions, we used WHMCS as one of our support channels to manage website support requests. As our team expanded and projects grew in complexity, we faced a familiar challenge—keeping all client communications, support tickets, and time tracking unified across systems. Managing this in multiple platforms started slowing us down.
We’ve been longtime users of ClickUp for task management and collaboration. However, there was a clear need to synchronize our client support requests from WHMCS over to the appropriate client folders in ClickUp, creating a single place where we could have complete visibility into everything going on with our clients.
So, we got to work and developed an integration that allows seamless synchronization of WHMCS tickets into ClickUp. This integration gave us unified visibility and tracking—every support request, project detail, and time log, all in one place.
While this solved an immediate issue for our own team, we realized this could help other agencies in the same situation. That’s why we decided to put it out there and see if anyone else finds it useful.
In its current version, the integration does exactly what we needed: synchronizes support tickets and client requests to the proper ClickUp folders, with time tracking built right in. But that’s not all. We’re continuing to expand its functionality, including the ability to embed ClickUp dashboards directly into WHMCS for a complete, real-time view of tasks, progress, and time spent—all without leaving WHMCS.
We’re eager to get feedback from users and see how others might benefit from this integration. If this sounds like something your agency could use, give it a try—and let us know how it works for you.
